Roots

This exhibition highlights a wide variety of photographs that have been inspired by situations from different perspectives.

Using the drama arising from the chiaroscuro in his photography, “Patricio Suarez” reveals hidden feelings. The scene with the light coming from a window and the lonely nude seemingly waiting for something tells us about the possibility of leaving and the election of staying inside.

“Gloria Matarazzo” works overlapping images of people, things, architecture, some of them from her personal archive and others were taken in her studio. She has composed new photographs with an unreal atmosphere.

“Alejandro Erbetta” works in France and Argentina, where he makes historical investigations that connect both countries. His inspiration arises from current phenomena like migration and memory. His sources are photos, texts and historic documents as well as personal and collective histories.
